Artist Vision Statement: An Example from a Musician
A vision statement says what an artist makes, what it is about and what they believe. Here is the vision of ELYAZ, a musician who writes, produces and performs his songs and shapes the visuals of his videos.
ELYAZ sees every song as a story, and every story as a journey. He writes, produces and performs his music and shapes the images of his videos, so that sound and pictures grow from the same idea. His songs talk about home and the roots that shape us, about love and the distance that sometimes keeps people apart, about the storms we face and the strength that grows from them, and about the wild places we must protect.
“I see every song as a story.” ELYAZ
